Dynamometer - DynoJet 250i
We have the very best in Dyno technology, the DynoJet 250i Load Control System it was developed through years of experience with over 6,000 dynamometer installations world wide.
Dynojet's Load Control System uses the latest in Eddy Current Power Absorption technology, which combines with the latest software producing repeatable, consistent results. The Load Control software provides us with the ability to control the bikes RPM or Speed at any throttle opening. Through our exclusive closed-loop software design, the bikes is automatically held at our pre-determined setting.
Dyno Services
The Dyno Power Run is pretty much what it says on the tin, we strap the bike down check tyres, pressures, oil and chain to make sure everything is in working order.
We bring the bike up to working temperature then perform the power run, you will get a print out of yourBHP results, this run will be saved on our system so the next time you have a power run we can overlay the results for comparison.
Air Fuel Ratio (AFR) Base Run, much like the Dyno power run but this time we analyse the AFR across the full range, you'll see if your bikes running 'rich' or 'lean' right through the RPM range.
For reliable readings we recommend that you disable the PAIR air system and exhaust flaps, these interfere with the AFR readings, if you don’t have these disabled we can do it for you.
You will receive full printouts which clearly indicate if your bike needs a new custom fuel map to correct any issues found during the AFR run. If you do require a fuel map change we’ll give you more detail on the day.
For custom map we have 2 choices, ECU flash or Power Commander.
With ECU flash we can do more with your bike and it’s the number 1 choice, secondly the Power Commander, great piece of technology but essentially it’s a piggyback system, the signal data still comes from the ECU but it's reinterpreted into something that the Power Commander what’s to do instead. One advantage of the Power Commander is the ability remove it from your bike and install it on your new bike or sell it on the interweb!
